Does the Sitekit plug in automatically put in the Google Adsense code on Amp pages or do I need to add specific code manually for that? Thanks!

    Hello @rick4him,

Providing you’ve applied to setting to allow Site Kit to insert your ad code within Site Kit then there is no need to manually insert any ad code, on either your canonical or AMP URLs. You’ll find the settings under “Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services > AdSense > Edit“, all from within your WordPress dashboard.

I’ve also checked your site and I can see the required ad code on both your AMP and non AMP URLs, with the code placed via Site Kit. Note that once you implement AMP it may take a few days before ads initially appear on AMP URLs.

Let me know if you have any questions on the above and I’d be happy to provide further information.

Thanks. So in the AMP settings I don’t need to enable any ad spaces? Sitekit will automatically find places to place the ads?

Correct, you don’t need to enable any “ad spaces” as you already have Auto ads placed on your AMP URLs. As it looks like your using the AMP for WP plugin you can place ads in here also if you wish.

Sitekit will automatically find places to place the ads?

While Site Kit inserted your Auto ads code it’s the AdSense platform and algorithms that will determine the most suitable placement of ads.

Let me know if you have any further queries on the above!

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
