    Hello,

I’m midstream moving my domain from Yahoo to Bluestream. It’s very odd since both hosts are using the exact same name for the site, so I don’t know how to show a link that differentiates between the two.

Anyhow, using WP 2.3 all I get for a possible location of a Google Adsense ad in a widget is a text widget. According to the research I’ve done, I should be able to just copy the Adsense code into the text widget and it should work. But it doesn’t. It just shows a few lines of the code.

At the Yahoo site using the Redoable theme I used a HTML module for the Adsense ad, but that’s not an option in WP 2.3 widgets.

How do I put an Adsense ad in a WP 2.3 sidebar widget?

    Thanks,

    Tom

It appears I need a plugin to manage the Adsense ads? Or is there a way to tell WP 2.3 that the code in the sidebar widget is in fact ‘code’ and not to treat it as text?

I just upgraded to 2.3.2 and am having similar issues. When I try to add my adsense code and click update I get an error message.

You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/widgets.php on this server.

As soon as I remove the adsense code this error message goes away.

Anyone have any ideas? This is happening in the default theme as well as another theme I downloaded.

Has anybody found out how to solve this issue?

Using the wordpress admin… it seems like you can’t add any javascript and save or it gives you that error.
