Adsense Manager

  • Im using Adsense Manager 3.3.3 on all of the blogs I have created for both me and various others. 4.0.1 has come out and asked to upgrade so I did. But right after the upgrade, all I get is :

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::render_ad() in /homepages/18/d109531826/htdocs/minecraft/wp-content/plugins/adsense-manager/class-upgrade.php on line 26

    And my only option I found was the just revert back to the older one. I tried it on all the other blogs and they are all having the same issue. Anyone else having this problem?

  • Hi Skettalee sorry you’re having a problem upgrading. I’ll have a look and see if I can figure out where it’s going wrong – it’s been a long time since I developed this, so bit of a steep re-learning curve.

    Do you have database access and are you able to send through the ad data? It’s in the wp_options table, with the key plugin_adsensem. With that I can duplicate your setup here and work out what is happening.

    I’m having the same problem. I tried to upgrade the plug in and now I can’t acces the admin area.

    Delete the plugin from the FTP and then you will be able to access the admin interface.

    Its not about accessing the admin interface, I keep backups and just revert to the previous version. I just want to know why the new update isn’t working?

    I’m sorry folks, I’m drawing a blank on why this is happening. It’s worked fine on all the upgrades I’ve tested.

    No worries man, we appreciate your time coding! Be waiting for the update ??

    I’ve released version 4.0.2 which fixes the bug that what hitting Skettalee (and hopefully the rest of you).

    It looked like some cruft left in the config from a long time ago. That’s what you get for going back to develop something after a 2 year hiatus.
