Adsense placement in template

  • I want to place a square ad area on my Single Post after the < !– more — > division.

    Is this possible? I don’t want to place it in the posts itself because I have a lot of users who blog and I want it to be automatically part of the template instead?

    I see the the_content(); function, but don’t see how to split it up into the part BEFORE the MORE link and the part after, so I can add in some ads.

    Any ideas?
