NSFW Adult Erotic 3D/CG Art & WP Question

  • I read a few topics from the web concerning this topic, but they were all about WordPress.com, not .org. So I felt it was best just to ask my questions here.

    I used WordPress through my hosting package to set up and adult CG/3D comic site. There are no actual images of real people, but some of the teasers may involve sexual themes. I am trying to set up a static page that viewers would have to agree they are 18 and above to enter, and not having any luck. Is there a way to do this.

    Also, just to be safe, is erotic CG/3D art ( basically it falls under adult cartoons/comics for my local and federal laws ), and I am in complete adherence to all laws for my area, am I violating WP TOS? As I mentioned, I am not using the free .com version, i am using the .org package included with my hosting software.

    Any help would be great.

  • You can use www.ads-software.com software any way you please – though some hosting companies may have their own restrictions. WP.ORG has no such restrictions. But if you do post here for help, please be sure to mark your threads accordingly – https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Warn_About_Adult_Content (That’s not a judgment, just to avoid forum volunteers getting into sticky situations if they might be helping out from a location (like work) where viewing an adult page could be an issue.)

    Thank You for the fast reply WPyogi. Noted and I edited the topic title. Sorry about that.

    My host allows anything as long as it does not break my local and federal laws.
    I just wanted to make sure I was not breaking WP.org rules.

    On the other subject, I added an Age Verification plug-in, but it doesn’t seem to be working. For what it’s worth, I am pretty consciences about not having minors just be able to see the images. I have a static home page with a text warning, I would just like to have a little something extra.
