    Hello,

I am seeking some guidance with a specific functionality in my WordPress site, particularly involving the Elementor pop-up and EA Advanced Accordion plugin. Here’s a detailed description of my current setup and the issue I’m facing:

    1. Current Setup: I’m using an Elementor pop-up for my mobile site’s menu. Inside this pop-up, I’ve implemented the EA Advanced Accordion to create accordion-style submenus under each main menu item.
    2. Design Choice: I’ve chosen this accordion approach to allow for more stylized submenu options, which aligns with my site’s design aesthetics.
    3. Desired Functionality: My primary goal is to make each main menu item (each accordion tab) clickable and functional as a link, once its corresponding tab is expanded.
    4. Specific Example: For instance, if a user on a mobile device selects ‘Products,’ they will see a dropdown of 5 items under this category. At this point, I would like the ‘Products’ title itself to become a clickable link.
    5. Troubleshooting So Far: I have provided a link below for direct access to the mobile version of the site, so you can observe the current functionality.

I appreciate any insights or guidance on how to achieve this functionality. If further details are required, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

I hope this will help you achieve your requirements.

    Hello,

Firstly, thank you for your prompt response and the suggestion provided. I appreciate your effort in helping me address this issue.

However, the solution involving the use of an anchor HTML tag in the accordion title doesn’t fully resolve my challenge. The primary reason is that the widget is intended for mobile use, where right-click functionality isn’t available.

To clarify further, I am looking for a solution where:

    1. First Touch Interaction: When a user taps on a menu item (e.g., ‘Products’), it should expand the accordion to show the submenu items.
    2. Second Touch Interaction: Upon a second tap on the same menu item (‘Products’), I would like it to function as a clickable link, leading to the respective page.
    3. Usability Aspect: It’s crucial that users can still expand and collapse the accordion tabs using the arrow, ensuring a smooth and intuitive mobile navigation experience.

I understand this might be a bit more complex, but this functionality is key to the user experience I’m aiming for. If you have any further suggestions or a different approach that could work in this scenario, I would be very grateful to hear them.

Thank you once again for your time and assistance.

    Best regards,

    Hello @stanhillalsim3?

Thank you for your detailed explanation of the issue. I understand that you’re looking for a more intuitive interaction with the EA Advanced Accordion widget, specifically for mobile use.

However, I regret to inform you that the current design of the EA Advanced Accordion widget does not support the specific interaction sequence you described. It’s important to note that the widget’s design serves a different purpose.

That being said, we value your feedback and suggestions. I’ve added your request to our internal suggestion list, which is regularly reviewed by our development team. If your suggestion aligns with our design goals and is feasible to implement, we will certainly consider it for future updates. Rest assured, we will notify you if such a feature becomes available.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

    Thank You
