• I get this error message every time I try to edit the settings on any of my plugins:

The file /home/user/DOMAIN/wp-content/advanced-cache.php already exists. Please manually delete it before using this plugin. If you continue to see this message after deleting it please contact your hosting support.

I have gone in and manually deleted it several times but it does not seem to help at all.
I have tried to deactivate Super Cache but it says “the link has expired”

I don’t know what to do at this point.

  • Your site probably has another plugin or system code that uses advanced-cache.php but I’m not sure why you wouldn’t be allowed to deactivate the plugin. ??
