  • Is WP Super Cache completely disabled and not running? Then, the advanced-cache.php was created by WP-Optimize. WP Super Cache wouldn’t delete that file if it doesn’t look like the one created by this plugin. That’s probably why you got that email.

I have deleted the plugin WP Super Cache, I guess it’s completely disabled and not running already? (I’m not a dev.) I’ll ask WP-Optimize. I just thought WP Super Cache may be the culprit because the email tagged it. Thank you.

Hey @ethanbridges – That sounds good! You can check about it with the WP Optimize team. Since the WP Super Cache plugin is uninstalled and not in use, the WP Super Cache plugin can’t add any files to the site.

    Many thanks! Closing this now.
