Having problems again with advanced card processing (debit/credit card) option not showing on checkout.
This seems to be similar to previous bug where after updating the plugin I needed to disable and reenable the advanded card option before it would show.
On my multisite several of the installations the debit/credit card option would not show (where others would)/
After disabling (saving), re-enabling (saving) it would re appear.
Although in this process was seeing frequent messages

Authentication with PayPal failed: Could not create token.

Please verify your API Credentials and try again to connect your PayPal business account. Visit the plugin documentation for more information about the setup.

it soes seem kind of flaky in opoeration, frequent spinning whilst loading advanced card options or reports of not appearing at all.

I did eventually get all 6 installations working, nut it does not give great confidence that it will stay this way.
    Thanks
    Paul

    Hello Paul,

Thanks for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.

“Authentication with PayPal failed: Could not create token” error, typically indicates that the onboarding process has not been fully completed. I experienced this kind of behavior while switching from live to sandbox account.

To address this immediately, I recommend the following steps: First, remove your PayPal Payments data from your database. This can be done through the plugin settings. Look for the “Clear Now” button in the Connection Tab. This action will reset the settings, enabling you to restart the onboarding process from scratch.

Alternatively, if you encounter issues with the onboarding wizard, viable solution is to enter your credentials manually. For a comprehensive guide on this manual method, please refer to the following tutorial: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/#manual-credential-input.

If the issue persists after performing these steps, we suggest you contact us directly for further assistance. We may need to examine your system report or logs to better understand what’s happening. You can open a ticket with our service desk. Here’s how you can request support:?Request Support. Please make sure to include the URL of this thread in your ticket for reference.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian

    Hi Krystian,
    Just to confirm.
All of these installations were previously working.
Then some were not and some were.
I was looking for a way to make all operational again – that is what I was describing previously.

What I don’t understand is why seemingly randomly the advanced payments part of the checkout does not display – having previously worked fine.
I will create a support ticket separately too.
    Thanks

    Paul
