• Hello everyone,
How can I set different aspect ratios based on the device used?

With a classic 16:9 picture for good full screen viewing on Desktop, then when it switches to mobile it becomes way too small.

I hope you understand what I mean ?? at the moment the site is Under Construction and therefore I don’t know how to show it.

I somehow got the desired effect by setting the slides as the background of the row and adjusting the different height settings. That would be fine but I noticed that the navigation between images with Dots doesn’t work in this case, or am I doing something wrong?

    Thank you

  • Hello @mominet

There aren’t settings to accomplish your goal. However, you can use several Advanced Gallery blocks inside separate Section blocks. Kadence Section blocks have Visibility settings that allow you to hide the Section for different screen sizes. You can design an Advanced Gallery for mobile devices, and place it in a Section block that hides the Section for screen sizes besides mobile devices. Then, you can design another gallery for desktop screens, and place it in another section block that hides on mobile devices.

Thanks for the reply, what you suggest is exactly the solution I thought of, but I thought there was a simpler way from settings.

I also thought about applying the slides as a background (so I could eventually add a text above them), but as I write here:
    Link

in that case why are the sliders not navigable with arrow, dot or scroll?

    Thank you

    Hello @mominet

I responded in the other thread about the navigation for the background slider of a row layout.
