We have an old site running with Spectre. Some sections in the site are built with Advanced Columns and background images.

When we save these pages, all is good, a day later, the layout is messed up again.

Each day I have to go into saving the page to make ure the right layout is showing up. What could be causing this? Is there some cron job or automation running?

    Hi @woutertz,@donbowman!

We sincerely apologize for the trouble.

It seems a cache issue. Can you please check by clearing all the caches including server side cache.

Please check and let me know how it goes.

    Have a nice day!

i find the Spectra image block also has this issue.

I find the issue is, i edit the page, all is good. I come back to the page sometime later, and the blocks show as corrupt.

For the image block, i switch it to the standard gutenberg one to fix.

For the advanced row, i end up having to either recreate, or, more commonly, to try and design it out.

I’m not sure this is caching, my caching plugins (fvm, wp-super-cache) don’t enable in the backend or for logged in users.

I disabled all caching, server side and plugins, and the problem persists.

    Hello @woutertz,

    Thanks for writing back.

We recently released an update Spectra 2.4.0 which has helped solve most of the recurring bugs so far. I request you update and let us know whether you are still experiencing these issues.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hello,

I am seeing something very similar on a client’s site with Spectra. The columns don’t load properly and it looks like half the page is missing. If I login and resave the page it will fix itself. I don’t have caching on this site. I’m using the latest version of Spectra.

This only just started in the last week or two.

    Hi @createscape,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

Mostly this issue occurs due to server-side cache. As you don’t have any server-side cache, I request you open a support ticket from here:https://wpspectra.com/support/ so that our support dev can help even better.

    Have a nice day!

I’ve had a lot of sites doing the exact thing that is reported in this thread. The problem sites I know of are built with the V1 blocks (like Advanced Row and Advanced Column, etc). I have an open support ticket through the Spectra website so hopefully this can get resolved for everyone, because I think it is affecting a lot of websites.

    Hi @yodergreg

We’ll look into it. Please allow me mark this as resolved as a way to close this thread so that we can focus and and respond on the support ticket you send.

Please feel free to open a new thread in case of any other queries.

    Regards.

    Judith.

Well it’s not resolved is it.

I have two websites with this problem too. Tried disabling all caché, partial, everything, but everyday the websites break. I have to regenerate assets to fix it everyday.

The only page is broken is always homepage.

People with the same problem will probably end up here, so it would be nice for them to find the solution here right? Did you guys figure out what’s going wrong yet?

    Hi @woutertz,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you and other users who are facing this issue. We understand that it can be frustrating when things don’t work as expected.

We have received reports about this issue from a few users and are actively working to reproduce and debug it. However, as it is not easily reproducible and there is not an exact case to replicate it, it is taking time to find a solution.

We want to assure you that we are continuously trying to reproduce and debug the issue on our end and on staging sites where the issue is reproduced. We are working hard to fix the issue, and once we have a solution, we will release an update.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and assure you that we will do our best to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

    Have a nice day!
