Advanced – Custom CSS not saving

    I just updated to the newest version of BM Custom Login (ver. 1.8) with the added Custom CSS option in the settings. I was really excited about this feature and was hoping that I wouldn’t need to manually edit the css file with every upgrade. However, when I went to add new CSS and save the settings the page reloads and the CSS field is blank again.

  • Similar for me after this update. When I try to save the options page, regardless of the changes made, I get a white php error page with this message:

    Also, it seems like after every (or at least some of the recent) update I lost some of the color settings that have been saved.

    Hi there – sorry to hear it’s not working properly.

    Could you give me an example of the css you are trying to save so I can test it myself please?

    Kevin – sorry to hear the colours are changing/ being reset when you update. Have you updated from a very old version of the plugin? The settings may have changed during a previous update – but they should never change now.

    Here is the code that I’m trying to add:

    .login form { padding: 26px 15px 46px 4px !important; }
#login #backtoblog {display:none !important;}

    These 2 things fix our only issues with the plugin. Those being that this is our membership site, so there is no back to blog option without logging in and the custom background for the form requires a little extra padding.
