Advanced Excerpts has no effect on my site

  • I have used this plugin before with excellent results but in this case it is having no effect.

    Theme is The7 with WPBakery page builder. Posts are being displayed using a post grid I created in the grid builder.

    Maybe I am missing a setting?

    I can’t supply a link as the site is under development. Thanks for the great plugin!

    Page builders usually have their own options for excerpt length and might not apply WordPress filters to it which our plugin hooks into to alter it.

    Does that WPBakery Page Builder module you use for the blog posts listing have excerpt length options? If it does then it’s highly likely it doesn’t apply those filters so our plugin can’t make modifications to it.
