Advanced Free shipping conditions not working

    Hey,

    I have set up all the Free Advanced shipping conditions based on product categories and it seems that is not working. It only takes the flat rates set up in the shipping zones.

    I need to set up free shipping for one specific category (which is working fine), but also I need to provide free shipping when a product of that category is purchased with another product from a different category. I got all the category combinations set up in groups in the Free shipping rates, but the shipping price comes up as soon as the products from different categories are in the shopping cart.

    Would you be able to help me with this?

    Hi,

    The ‘category’ condition requires all products in the cart to have the given category before the condition matches. So if there are two or more products in the cart with different categories, the rate won’t show up.

    Instead you can try using the ‘Contains shipping class’ condition which does allow for other products in the cart at the same time.
    Or alternatively with a customization adding a ‘Contains category’ condition is also possible.

    So,

    If I set up this condition group:

    category -> Equal to -> All Robot lawn mowers

    category -> Equal to -> All Robot Accessories

    Country -> Equal to -> Australia

    Category -> Not equal to -> Refurbished demo robots

    And I have a product of each category in the Cart, Should I get free shipping?
    Or is it not possible to combine them like that?

    No,

    The category condition all products must match the given category. The ‘Contains ..’ condition checks if 1 or more items are in the cart with the given selection.
