    Hi,

    First of all. I really like the plugin. It works well in my opinion.

    Here is my website’s page using your plugin: (moved below post)

    Secondly, I have a few questions:

    1 I’ve got 5 reviews on Google. But it said “3 reviews” even though all 5 reviews were shown up. Check the images below. I cleaned cache already.

    2 I used the Advanced function to load all Google Reviews.

    I followed your instruction carefully. But when I pasted the Outer HTML div to the textarea in step 5, then I couldn’t save it or process it. There was no “Save” button.

    I clicked “Process” button, but it just showed “No new reviews found” and a “Clear” Button.

    When I click the “Clear” button, it sent me back to the Advanced tab page. The textarea in step was still not fulfilled.

    3 It seems like the new reviews won’t be updated automatically. I had to clear all caches before the new reviews appeared on the website’s page.

    4 There is a conflict between your plugin’s setting with the regular Google Maps module. I am using Divi and its Fullwidth Google Maps’s Module.

    When I setup your plugin, it asked me to do these steps:

    6 Click “Restrict Key”;
    7 Set “Application restrictions” to “IP addresses” and enter:?67.227.214.16?;
    8 Select “API restrictions” to “Restrict key” and select the following API request: “Place API”;

    But if I do those steps, the Google Maps Module won’t work anymore. “The page didn’t load Google Maps correctly …”

    Check this link: https://ibb.co/YXFcGst

    Then I checked for the Error. That was this Error: ReferrerNotAllowedMapError.

    Then I followed the instruction to fix the issue like below:

    https://ibb.co/QNkZDhJ

    But if I fix this Error, your plugin won’t work anymore.

    Then if I apply your way of API restriction again, your plugin would work again, but the Google Maps Module on Divi stops working.

    I hope you can help me solve those.

    BR,

    Kien

    @kiennguyenws Sorry, the original post notification didn’t arrive. I rely on the emails to inform me when a new post or reply appears. I’ll look into this very soon.

    @kiennguyenws Ok, here are the answers:

    1. The review count: You now have 3 reviews. At some point you may have had more or they may have differed. The overall review/rating count here is sourcing its data from Google (where only 3 currently exist). For the purposes of legitimacy, I’d recommend either deleting the imported reviews or, perhaps, resetting the plugin so it matches the current API data.
    2. For the HTML Import, there is a Process button that will perform the first step of checking the data and allowing you to select the reviews you want to import. If you have 5 or less reviews, it is very likely say no new reviews found because all the reviews would have been collected through the API. The HTML Import is primarily aimed at 6+ reviews to circumvent the API limitation of the 5 most relevant reviews. On a related note, I am going to change the design of this section in the near future to make things a little clearer.
    3. New reviews may not appear immediately if there is a caching service enabled – however, they will appear when the caches are flushed or reevaluated at the appropriate times. There is also a chance that new visitors will see a fresh copy and the version you’re seeing was cached within the browser. It all depends upon your setup. Still, for the mostpart, you can leave the caching alone and over time new reviews will appear as they are collected through the Google Places API.
    4. API Key Conflict: If setup correctly, there should be no conflict. I strongly recommend separate API Keys for the different purposes – such as an embedded map. There will be no errors if you keep the Places API and the JavaScript Maps API separate – the referrer/IP restriction restrictions are not compatible with one API Key.

    Hi,

    Thanks a lot. ALl clear.

    Points 1, 2, 3: After a couple of days, the reviews showed up. I guess the rest of the new reviews will come later. I hope so.

    Point 4: I have created 2 Google Maps API Key for each purpose. Now everything is working well.

    Thanks a lot for your support. I really appreciate it.
