    Hi,

I tried to observe the issue on your above mentioned link. I suspect some styling issue, which is causing the map area to load with undefined width and height. But this couldn’t be true as well.

However, can you please do the followings?

    • Make sure the style attributes for maps have correct CSS attributes and values. For example, the width and height parameters should have values like 600px or whatever width you want. But notice px or any measurement (i.e. em) used with the desired amount.
    • If above doesn’t help, send me screen shots for the edit pages of map, map locations and the short code you are inserting in the page. You may need to upload these screen shots to somewhere on your website and paste the links in your reply.

Please let me know, I ‘ll take care of this ASAP.

    Thanks.

Yes, You are correct. I added the height and width in px to the advanced shortcode and it now works. Thanks very much.

Now a slightly trickier question. How do I centre and zoom an advanced mode map on a particular marker?

I would like to place zoomed in maps in separate posts, so that visitors can scroll from one marker to another and click on the post link in the marker label. This brings up a new post with the same map zoomed on the new marker location which is the subject of the post. The reader is then able to scroll to another marker etc.

Adding zoom to the shortcode parameter doesn’t seem to have much affect.

    Any ideas?

Thank you for your feedback, it’s good to know that you were able to fix the issue.

Unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t support per marker (or particular) marker based zoom options. The zoom feature is a native Google Maps feature which takes place automatically and decides the best zoom.

Or in simple words, the plugin doesn’t support advanced/customized modes/usages.
