Advanced mode doesn’t work

    Hi, we’ve just activated your nice plugin and we’d like to use the ‘advanced’ mode to also publish the featured image. After switching to this mode, we have re-opened an existing post and pressed the share button. In the post we still see in the panel the “custom mode”, this could be the first indication, that the ‘advanced’ mode is not activated. However, the post will be pushed to LinkedIn, but it looks like it uses the ‘simple’ mode, because it post with the pattern: [POST_TITLE] – Read more: [POST_LINK]. And of course no image, because we haven’t defined any meta tags so linked in is not able to add any other image.

    PHP Version: 5.4.16
    Wordpress Version: 4.9.4
    Plugin Version: 5.22

    Hi @sutermar,

    So you have previously shared the post before on LinkedIn?

    LinkedIn keeps a cache of previously shared posts. You can use this method to get around the LinkedIn cache: https://woorkup.com/linkedin-cache/

    If the featured image sharing isn’t working on a new post that hasn’t been shared before please let me know and provide some screenshots and links. Thanks,
