    Hello Luuk,

The best way to change the appearance of a search form is to modify one of the existing form templates according to your preferences.

After modifying a template, it’s best to move it to the directory buddypress/members under your active theme directory.

    Hello Andrea,

    Thank you for your reply.

I copied the form templates to my child theme directory.

But changing these templates I don’t understand.

These templates has no design structure as I can see.

I don’t care about the functionality of each function.

The only thing I would like is to display the form in 2 columns instead of 1.

    Hi Luuk,

I forgot to mention that modifying these templates requires a good knowledge of PHP, and of course of HTML and CSS.

I know PHP, but I’m not good at HTML and CSS, and I don’t know how to implement the changes you need. I’ll leave this thread open, and hopefully other readers will add their suggestions.

Sorry I’m not able to offer more help!
