Advanced Search Toggle Not Working

    Hi there,
    have just upgraded to the latest version in my test site which is running WP3.6 but the advanced search toggle does not appear to be working properly.

    Clicking the Show Advanced Search works fine but on clicking to Hide Advanced Search the label is disappearing altogether and not reverting back to the Show Advanced Search.

    chances are you have a js clash somewhere

    could you share a link for us to see?

    Hiya,

    I see a Javascript error in your site relating to jQuery which appears to be caused by a plugin called “Pineapple”. Can you try deactivating that plugin and seeing if the issue goes away?

    no it’s not WP Pineapple. I deactivated it and the issue is still there!

    what about other plugins? or your theme?

    Hi Marcus,
    using Woothemes Canvas but will try and deactivate other plugins and revert to the basic wordpress to see if I can locate the issue.

    Hi Marcus,
    found the problem it is my theme that is causing the issue not any of the plugins. Disabled all plugins and still had the problem but reverting to Twenty Twelve and Twenty Thirteen Themes and the toggle is working.

    Any ideas on a fix.

    another way is to disable your theme javascript includes and/or check your theme header.php for wp_head() and footer.php for wp_footer()

    or ask your theme provider for any assistance since it’s working on the default theme.
