    Guessing if we untic delete server backups after updraft finishes this will keep copies of backup on server correct?

    I leave my server support to restore my site in case of any problems. I just wanted a second layer of protection.

    I am guessing this is for saving space but I rather leave the support to my host as they been pretty awesome with restoring when needed. I don’t want to change anything that will take it out if thier hands.

    Hi,

    Disabling the ‘delete server backups’ will stop any backup files from being removed from the server. A copy will be stored in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory.

    This includes if the backup set is pruned according to the scheduled backup settings.
