Advanced sorting

Any chance you can include some advanced sorting, allow us to sort my multiple options. Example, show all featured first then show new products (maybe with date range) and then show the rest of the products in menu order then title order ascending? something like that. Allow us to mix and match the options and include ascending, descending and so on.
