    Hi,
I work for a magazine that is mainly about events in our local community and help spreading the word for these events. We love your calendar, but we were wondering if there was a way to put advertisement on the right side, top, or bottom of the event page? We are starting new online advertisement campaigns for our clients and these spots have been requested…. can anyone please help me out?
    Thanks, C

  • Hey there C! Rob from Modern Tribe here. I’m so sorry we missed this — we generally do one pass a week here on www.ads-software.com, and we must have not seen this during our pass 2 weeks ago when you posted it. My apologies on behalf of the whole team…we definitely dropped the ball here.

To answer your question: yes, you can build elements like advertisements into the page. If you were just looking to embed at an ad of some kind in the description of your event, that wouldn’t require any real customization and would be relatively easy. If you wanted to build custom layouts that involved ads that would take a bit more work and you’d likely need to create custom templates. We have a guide that walks through the process to help developers do this (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/) but cannot provide a ton of support on customizations themselves.

Hope this helps. If you have further questions, please do let us know. My apologies once more for such a poor first impression with our support process.
