I am in the middle of trying to set up the ADVERTWHIRL plug-in. I am currently using the TECHOZOIC THEME. In the written directions the authors is using the TWENTY TEN theme. Would I be better off switching back to the TWENTY TEN theme to install the plug-in then switching back to the TECHOZOIC THEME. I am thinking that should work since “most plug-ins” usually seem to go with the theme when it’s changed. The directions are written and force the user to change some html coding. I am thinking this should work, but before I get into this mess I just wanted a second opinion.

    Thanks!

    Kevin

  • I don’t know that plugin but I think you need to set it up in your current theme.

The reason for my question is in the directions given the author uses Twenty Ten. The coding is different from the coding in Techozoic. Now if all my other plug-ins transfer then it would stand to reason once this one is done it too would transfer too. Right??? Unfortunately this plug-in is what I want and need after reading through over 400 alternatives. Any ideas???

    Right???

No. This plugin requires you to make changes to your current theme’s template files.
