Advice in support answer incorrect

Hi,
In this support thread – ‘Date Field invalid format since 3.6.8‘ (now closed to responses hence this new thread) the advice given was to roll back to 3.6.7, and that deleting the problem version would not delete any data; I have just done this and both of the forms I had created were deleted! I can recover this, but it is both annoying and an unnecessary waste of my time, as I had the specific forms linked to php code in my child themes functions which I have now also got to change, as well as specific css I was using (which I am hoping will still be OK). Please be more careful with your responses, and please fix the original issue with the date format, as 3.6.9 has NOT fixed it on my site. Luckily this is not yet a production site and I hope nobody else has had this problem. I am now hoping that my backup is current enough to avoid hours of work.
