Advice on overwriting the current site.

    I have build my word press in a sub folder on the public html site as /newsite. The public HTML site has the current blog in it from a different blogging software which i want to get rid of.

    Is it easier/better to leave my site where it is and redirect everyone to the sub folder or move my site.

    Any advice?
