AELIA CURRENCY SWITCHER

Usage of the Aelia Currency Switcher feature is fairly simple. Have you seen our blog post on it?

On the first page of your feed configuration you get to select a currency for which you want to create the product feed (first enable the Aelia option in the plugin settings). The plugin will than calculate product prices in that currency and puts it in the product feed.

Thanks so much for finally adding support for a currency switcher. Just one major question before purchasing this switcher. Will your plugin support its setting for currency via url. I.E if Currency via URL is enabled in the plugin will your feed plugin then produce product links that also reflect this currency information? This would finally make complying with Google Shopping possible in the most effective way. Also, how much will you’re plugin cost for Pro features I cant seem to see this info anywhere. Dont want to get too invested in its use if its just going to end up not being affordable if you can understand

Or is there a way to use the rules to add the AELIA currency information? A simple append to all links rule would probably suffice but I cannot see how to do this. A response would be most appreciated

That was indeed the solution we wanted to propose.

For example: when you selected USD currency for your feed the plugin will put prices in USD in your product feed but you also need to add this to the link:

&aelia_cs_currency=USD

or:

?aelia_cs_currency=USD (when you have no Google Analytics or AdTribes parameters in your links).

You can append this to your link by adding it in the Suffix field for the link mapping you created. Like this:

Bear in mind that adding parameters to the link has only been made possible a couple of releases back so please make sure you are on the latest version of our plugin.
