I’m new to this plugin and noticed a problem. A majority of affiliate links I work with include a URL to their banner and one for the target page on their site. The only way (tat I can see) to specify images, is to have a physical copy of each banner!

This is terribly inconvenient because it would require me to paste the URL in my browser to see the banner, then right-click-save the banner, THEN upload it.

Is there any other way to make this work?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

  • Hey Jeff, good question.

We don’t have a way of hotlinking images in ThirstyAffiliates like you mention, but a faster workaround for you could be to disable the new media uploader (see Settings page), then use the URL upload when you’re adding an image to an affiliate link. That way you only have to insert the url of the image and the plugin will download and add it to your media library.

Let me know how you get on with this.

    Cheers,
    Josh
