• First of all: great plugin!

Since this is not mentioned anywhere I’m not sure if its a supposed behaviour, but your Plugin detects the affiliate links I created with the thirstyaffiliates plugin.

But when choosing one of them and link it to a term (identical to the link name I chose or not) it does not add the “nofollow” option.

Both are marked active in thirstyaffiliates and terms description.

Is there currently a way to do so? If not this would be a really great feature to have!

    Greetings!

I understand the problem. Terms description plugin adds nofollow attribute only to external links, because there is no sense in adding them to real internal links. But when you create a link with ThirstyAffiliates it creates custom post type. Terms Descriptions works with ThirstyAffiliates links like with any other post and there is no way to determine that ThirstyAffiliates post in reality is a external link.

To work around this problem, when you creating a term, select “External link” in the dropdown list (not “Affiliate link”). And insert link URL in the text field (you should use ThirstyAffiliates link URL (with https://), not the real affiliate link URL). Terms description will consider such links as external despite the fact that they links to you blog.

If you have another ideas to improve the plugin feel free to send them to me.
