Affixed widget overlaps the footer

    The issue with affixing a widget like this is that it is impossible to compatible with all themes. It is possible to “fix” the widget for your theme but exactly what that fix would be, I could not tell you. Depending on the way the theme was designed, it may even require altering the theme. Sorry I do not have a solution for you. My only suggestion is to disable the affix option since it does not work with your theme correctly.
