On my local environment everything is set up fine.

After moving site to live production site, even though the plugin is activated, the link does not show under woo commerce settings: screen1

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to no avail.

    Hi,

The only known reason why the link may not show up there when the plugin is active is if WooCommerce is not being recognised as being active.
There is a check in the plugin that does this, and it checks whether the following file exists:
    wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/woocommerce.php

In some cases the folder name of WooCommerce may be different, and I’d recommend to rename it to the above.

    Let me know!

    Thank you,

wow what an interesting find. So originally I had trouble with some of plugins on my site not working when moving the site from local to production (turns out bluehost by default has some old version of php installed) I had to rename them all to “-disabled” so I can narrow it down and finally fixed it. I thought i named them all back but looks like I had missed the woocommerce plugin.

Strangely tho, I was able to activate woocommerce and complete a test order before….soooo…that’s weird.

Anyway, now after getting rid of the “-disabled” and re-activating the plugin, I do see the advanced free shipping. TY!

    Glad to hear that ??

The folder name doesn’t matter for the activating / deactivating of plugins, that will work no matter what the name is ??

    Have a great day!
