After 4.5 upgrade, all sliders not working/showing

Sorry for the trouble, have resolved, it is due to older version of JS not copatible to latest WP4.5.

Hi parsehcity,

You need to look for your Theme’s “customscript.js” and look for the line something like this
jQuery(‘a[href=#top]’).click(function(){

as you can see the #top (this may differs from yours) is a special character and it should have ” ” around it, so add in the ” ” and it looks like

jQuery(‘a[href=”#top”]’).click(function(){

The former js works in the older jQuery-s but not like this new ones – WP4.5

but my theme ( AWAKE ) dont have this file and when i go to custom.js in scripts folder , i dont find this code ( or same as )

@parsehcity: Sorry, you’re using a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme for a theme update. Yes, it broke slider images for me on Enfold theme
google map on Enfold
portfolio blocks on avada theme

Did all the clearing cache, in and out of browser.
All browsers show the problem.

I did NOT like the way on one of my sites that I could not do anything on the site admin until I upgraded the database. It scared me to see that, I did back up my whole site, but I also hesitate to try to restore it to the old version …..

BTW, I did report to my theme support forum, but this seems like a WP 4.5 problem since it is on two themes I use.

Enfold and Avada are premium themes not supported in these forums; go to those company websites for theme updates.
