After 8.0 Update EWWIO cant finde gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng, pngquant

  • Since i’ve updatet EWWW IO to 8.0 the plugin tells me this:

    EWWW Image Optimizer verwendet Open-Source-Werkzeuge, um den kostenlosen Modus zu aktivieren, aber diese fehlen auf deinem Server: gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng, pngquant. Bitte installiere sie gem?? der Installationsanweisungen, um im kostenlosen Modus fortzufahren.

    Englisch: EWWW Image Optimiser uses open source tools to enable free mode, but these are missing on your server: gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng, pngquant. Please install them according to the installation instructions to continue in free mode.

    But i have nothing changed! gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng and pngquant are still their, where they were before and the same versions.

    What should i do?

    Is this are false warning?

    Hi @the-dude-1

    It will remove the tools if you remove the plugin (to cleanup after itself, as it were), but if you just updated the plugin, it shouldn’t remove them.
