    Hello,
I installed W3TC version 0.10.1 on a Divi theme. After activating the page cache I get logged out to the login page. There I can’t log in, instead the page is only reloaded when you click on Login.
I had installed Autopotimize before, but now I have deleted all plugins to avoid conflicts with W3TC. The problem remains. My complete website is then not accessible.
Only by deleting the w3tc-config folder (probably because it resets the page cache option to factory defaults (disables it)) will it help.
I also searched the .htaccess file for errors, leather without success.

I would be happy if there is a solution, because I already had W3TC running on the server (but another theme, because of Divi I rebuilt the website from scratch), and of all plugins this one had the best performance.
Divi himself recommends this plugin. However, I haven’t found a similar bug in this context yet. Maybe it could be related to the update on the theme a few days ago?

    Thanks in advance!

  • i have same problem. (W3TC version 0.10.1 php 7.3, wp 5.2.3)

Hi @lesca3dscan and @lavinya, I am sorry to hear that you two are having trouble logging in after enabling the Page Cache.

If you are using the default plugin settings then you probably have the ‘Enable caching for wp-admin requests’ option activated in the Object Cache settings.

Try deactivating that option and then Save Settings & Purge Caches. Once that is configured you should be able to enable Page Caching.

If you continue to run into problems with the login page please let us know what settings you are using so we can figure out what might be causing this problem.

Still the same after deactivating that setting ??
I used the default settings from a fresh install.

joe9663 thanks for reply. I completely turned off the database cache, feature. then I deleted the caches. my problem is solved.

You’re welcome @lavinya, I’m glad that worked for you!

Some other things you can try @lesca3dscan is manually deleting the cache folder located in /wp-content rather than using the tools in the GUI and changing the Page Cache Method in General Settings > Page Cache.

I hope that helps you restore your login functionality!

    Thanks @joe9663 ..

    @joe9663 unfortunately that didn’t help either :/

In the meantime, I switched to Hummingbird. The performance is good, but the usability could be better.

I am sorry to hear that @lesca3dscan.

Did you try purging the cache after disabling the setting to cache /wp-admin/? While disabling does stop it from happening, if cache files still existed, you could have been seeing those instead, hence the issue seeming to remain for you and not others.

Please let us know if we can help any further, and thanks for trying our product!
