    Hello

I installed the plugin and activated it. Then I immediately had error 500 and now I no longer have access to my Website (wordpress).
I have already deleted the plugin via the FTP server but unfortunately still the same error.
I noticed that the .htaccess file was also changed by the plugin. I have undone these changes but that didn’t help either.
Can you tell me how I can undo the changes made by this plugin or what this plugin changes?

I hope you can help me
    Thanks in advance

    Hello @patrick1245,

The error may occur due to the rules in the .htaccess file or incompatibility with another of the installed plugins of the application.

The recommended course of action would be to restore the application from a restore point when it was working as intended.

If you are a SiteGround customer, you can post a ticket through your Client Area so we can check what may be causing the reported behavior.

    Best Regards,

    Hi @patrick1245,

Helpful: In the future, if you need to clean-uninstall Speed Optimizer, please follow the instructions provided in this topic.

    Hi @stefanstefanov,

Strong Recommendation: Please refer to this topic as well. Can you please add the clean-uninstall instructions to SiteGround’s documentation? It’s the right thing to do. It saddens us that SiteGround never listens to (nor incorporates) our well-intended and valuable recommendations (yes, even the ones we’ve submitted to feedback [at] siteground [dot] com). They are time-savers and will keep your team from having to provide the same (or similar) answer over and over again in this forum (or via tickets).

    Thank you!
