    Hi premmarga,

If you successfully deactivated WP Edit… then the problem is not coming from that plugin.

You apparently have another plugin (or possibly theme) which is not liking the new WordPress update.

You will need to use either your hosts cPanel (or an FTP program) to gain access to your file directories.

Once there, browse to the “wp-content” directory.

From there, you should see a folder named “plugins”.

Rename that folder to something like “plugins-fix”.

This will cause ALL plugins to manually deactivate.

Then, you should be able to re-access your website.

Once you do, don’t forget to go back and rename that folder back to “plugins”.

Now, once you are in your site again… go back and begin re-enabling plugins one at a time… checking to see if it works properly with your website.

Thanks for the answer, but I wasnot able to deaktivate wpedit.
After I had rebooted my pc, the page was working again, I think there was still something in cache.
But I′m not sure if I will use wp edit. Is it really true that tinymc is not working anymore with 3.9

but thanks for you tipps, I will keep them in mind for next problems.

    No problem at all.
Yes, this is a very tricky update. Much has changed with the content editor.. and many plugins/themes are going to be affected.

If I can provide any other assistance, even if not related to my plugin here, please let me know!

    Thanks,
And ofcours I have already a question. Do you know if 3.9 will be updated automaticly, or is it possible to deaktivate automatic update.
    what do you think?

    No worries.. that’s why I’m here ??

Yes, you can completely remove automatic updates from happening by adding this line to your wp-config.php file:

    define( 'AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED', true );

    Taken from the WP Codex.
