After activation I get: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING

  • I get the following msg after activating Best Import free version plug-in, I click on the “Best Import” link in the left hand WP menu and I see the following message in the right hand screen where the plug in should be displayed.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in
    /home/www/dev.kikuchi-online.com/artlyst-staging/wp-content/plugins/best-import/admin/admin.php on line 2

    I have installed it here:
    https://dev.kikuchi-online.com/artlyst-staging/
    WordPress 4.5.1 running FoundationPress theme.

    Please can you let me know how to get it working.

    Hello,

    As we can see, the error relates namespace. Namespaces are supported since PHP 5.3. What version of PHP do you use?
