After authenticating my site with the Google Analytics code, I got some PHP errors. Is this an issue with the plugin itself? See this screen shot.

I am unable to “enable” Google Analytics for a site.

    Hi Adam!

Unfortunately an image doesn’t always help read the error. Are you able to post the error message?

What have you tried in order to fix this?

The link to the screen shot contains the PHP error. Since this looks like a plugin problem, I haven’t done anything to fix this. Should I set up a temporary admin login for you to look around?

No. Try not to do things like that on public forums as it could lead to headaches down the road.

What does the error message say?

I’m sorry. Maybe it was a different forum that I private messaged someone and gave them a temporary login to fix something.

    The error message is:

Thank you, @lgustaw. That looks like the issue exactly. I’ll await an update fix of the Yoast SEO plugin. You’ve been most helpful!

    @panhead,

Wanted to see if the latest version sorted things out for you?

    Thread Starter Adam

    (@panhead)

@jcastaneda I just updated to the latest Yoast SEO (3.6.1) and the latest Google Analyticator (6.5.0.0), and I can now see the Basic Settings screen. Unfortunately, I received an error message, and then found the fix. This is the error message:

Analytics Account: (cas:72) Google Analyticator was unable to authenticate you with Google using the Auth Token you pasted into the input box on the previous step.

This could mean either you pasted the token wrong, or the time/date on your server is wrong, or an SSL issue preventing Google from Authenticating.

Try Deauthorizing & Resetting Google Analyticator.

Tech Info 400:Error fetching OAuth2 access token, message: 'invalid_grant'

I tried the “Deauthorize & Reset Google Analyticator” and “Clear Analyticator Cache” links, and they didn’t help. The solution came when I clicked the “Reset” link on the Plugins screen under Google Analyticator. Everything’s working now!

    Thank you for your help!

Oh, that is super weird that you had to take those steps to get it working but glad to see it is finally resolved!
