    Hello Youie,

    I don’t see any such behaviour on your site.
    I clicked the hamburger menu and for me, it is behaving correctly.
    Let me know if I am missing something else.

    Regards,
    Anurag

    Hello Anurag,

    thank you for your reply.
    Concerning the information I gave you –
    is there something missing?

    Would you please try to reproduce:

    ? open the page: https://grafikur.de/develop/langhoff_2023

    ? scroll down (manually or by using one of the anchors in the menu)

    ? after that: open then menu …

    ? and you are on top of the page.

    How can I prevent this behaviour?

    Best regards

    youie

    Hello Youie,

    I have checked from our end and there is no such behaviour seen.
    I think there might be some plugin or theme conflicting with it.
    I will suggest checking by disabling the plugin or by trying other themes.

    Regards,
    Anurag

    Hello Anurag,

    sorry – I don’t understand:
    Are you not able to help me?
    Or not willing?

    ? I followed your instructions and deactivated all plugins
    ? only WP Responsive Menu is active
    ? I switched to a standard theme
    ? and after scrolling down the page and activating the hamburger menu
    the page STILL scrolls to the top. This is NOT the desired behaviour!

    This is my third try to get an real answer and a solution!

    Here is a screen film of what happens in my browsers (different ones):
    https://grafikur.de/download/wp_responsive_menu.mov

    It’s the same behaviour as with my theme and all necessary plugins activated!
    How can I prevent the scrolling to top after clicking on the hamburger menu?

    Regards

    Youie

    Hello Anurag,

    this is my 4th try to get a proper answer to my simple question, how to prevent the scrolling to the top of my site after clicking on the hamburger menu!

    I described the problem, I followed your instructions and I made a screen movie.

    So why can you not simply answer my question, if you have one?

    So why is it now necessary to change the communication platform?

    And how do I reach your chat?

    Sincerely

    Hello Anurag,

    thank you for the poor support.

    On a single page with #hashes, the jump to the top absolutly makes no sense.

    I described the problem, I followed your instructions, I made a screen movie and I asked again.

    For those, who have the same problem, a simple change of a css declaration will be the fix:

    html.wprmenu-body-fixed body{
    position: absolute !important;
    }

    Thank you for nothing.
