After Database Backup & Restore is the blog only writable

    Hi folks.
    Does anyone know what is happening?
    I have regularly backed up my Mysql Database and restored it. Now is my Blog only readable and I can not write any post. I am only getting “Database error”, it is also not writable by any of the plugins like NGG.
    My wp-config.php is ok, all addresses and logins, passwords are also correct.
    Anybody any idea why is this happening?

  • guessing one or more tables have crashed in the db
    run a repair with phpmyadmin
    start with _options table

    Found the problem. ??
    IDs were not auto_increment. After manual recreating it, the table was again writable by the script. Whole problem was that the script did not know which ID value should be next…
