After Deactivation of the Plugin the Articles turn into a 404 error page
-
Hi,
First off all, thank you for your support on publishing this plugin for free license.
The problem i want to write to you about is about the fact that after deactivating the plugin, all articles (including those that i have previously posted on my website, and all the new articles that i would like to post) get broken.
So if i had an article with content like “lorem ipsum”, after deactivating the plugin the article displays the 404 error page saying “that’s emberassing now isn’t it” (or something along that lines).
The good thing though is that after reacting the plugin the articles return to normal and can be viewed as they were before installing the plugin for the 1st time.
technical details are as follows:
– wp version is 3.8.1
– permalink custom structure is /%postname%-%post_id%.htmlIt would be much appreciated if you would have the time to take a look into this and see if you can work a way around it. I’m sure you would make a lot of people happy if you could fix this.
From what i’ve seen in your plugin file there’s some code implemented for Refresh rules on activation/deactivation/category changes.
My intuition tells me there might be a way to do some Refresh rules on activation/deactivation/article changes
Should you have any questions, please let me know
