• Hello,

I had deleted a test (staging) copy of a production website I had created on a subdomaim on same shared server (GoDaddy).

I deleted files and database both through cPanel, but when I visit the url I get the notice in the title of this post.

Then it offers the link to cPanel.

How could I get rid of this?

I have googled a lot and found many topics about it but from people that want to put their website up, I need to completely erased that subdomain.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

    Cris

    Hello @sagarprajapati,

    Thank you for your reply.

I had read the link before, but I create the staging website in a different way.

I created the subdomain then copied files and db all from inside cPanel and everything worked good but now I do not need that anymore so I deleted everything from cPanel, deleted subdomain but I still get that notice and the direct link to cpanel login.

What I would like to do is to completely remove the subdomain.

    Many thanks for any support.

    Cheers,
    Cris

    Hi

Find the subdomain name from your godaddy DNS managment and delete it. For more information visit this link:

    Hello again @sagarprajapati,

Thank you for your quick reply! ??

I have the possibility to delete subdomain directly from cPanel using same options which through I created it, which I already did. I deleted it couple of days ago.

But if you mean that I have to delete it from inside GoDaddy account too, well I must get back here later on as I personally do not have access to that account.

On the other side, if deleting it from cPanel is enough (please remember I create staging site and db from cPanel, I never had to login into GoDaddy account), then I do not know what else I should delete.

    Thank you,
    Cris

OK I did as @sagarprajapati suggested (thanks again mate!) and it’s gone.
