After Error 500 – Article no longer available

  • Hello everybody,
    I have the following problem. I recently experimented on the .htaccess file – there was then an error 500.
    My web host then emptied the file and uploaded again.
    Now the start page can be called again. But if you want to click on an article, the error message appears that the page was not found. Also in the admin dashboard I do not enter!

    Do I need to reinstall WordPress and re-write each article? Or what do I do best?

    Would you mind posting the contents of your .htaccess here? Seems to me like the only logical source of trouble here.

    Switch the permalinks to default and test then switch it back to the way you want it
