Only recently installed the link library. I am sure this is only a recent problem, but now after I edit a link and update it a wordpress warning appears at the top of the screen saying “changes that you made may not be saved” – even though it also says, post updated.

This is a bug in WordPress 5.6 that will be fixed in 5.6.1 (https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/52038). While this bug is related to WooCommerce, it really affects all plugins like Link Library that use a text editor in their custom post type page.

Please update to latest WordPress when it becomes available and check back in here if you’re still having issues after that.

Thanks for your reply. I had noticed the problem with other plugins, like products in woocommerce. I had thought it might be a problem with using the classic wordpress editor plugin but now, thanks to your link, know it is caused by wordpress itself and will hopefully soon be fixed.

Version 6.8.2 of WordPress resolves this issue.
