After install, can’t change, edit, add anything

    Hey i just downloaded the latest release from the site and installed it. Said it’s all ok. But once in the admin, anything i add, edit or change will not be saved. Can’t edit categories, add posts or change user password.

    During the installation, no errors were reported. what could be the case? thanks

    i’m hosting it on my own server. no errors what so ever..

    could this be the couse of server running in safe mode?

    Safe mode should not be affecting anything.
    Do the server logs indicate anything ?
    What versions of php / mysql ?
