After installing the pluggin, all cached pages look like ??

  • I have almost exactly the same site and the pluggin works fine, but on my main site, the one I need it most, when a cached page is revisited, it produces a white page and tones of ??<?r?8??NU?afZr or weird garbled, incoherent hex characters < r 8 NU afZr.

    There is no theme info available and when I disable the plugin, all cached pages go back to normal.

    I do not minify, compress, gzip or anything other than cache the pages.

    Any ideas?

    I waited for an answer here, but none came.

    After installing about 8 different cache programs I found one that delivered the answer. FlexiCache has an option to disable compression and Gzip. I had tried doing this prior in the htaccess, but to no avail. Anyway, Flexicache has tons of options, which I need and precache, so I will stick with it and it doesn’t scramble the theme.
