this is about as subjective as it gets!!

For instance, I dig the 2011 theme. So I don’t think anything needs done. I feel the WordPress looks fab the way it is!

You need an audience. Much like you can only lose weight via diet and exercise, you can only make money off your site by advertising and attracting readers.

I am a “seasoned” citizen who started a blog to help a not-for-profit organization. I have my website up. I put a tag on each of my posts (maybe I should put more than one tag). I want to optimize my site so search engines can find me easily. I have a book I am following, but it is really more information than I can chew on as a beginner.

I think I need to add trackback, right? And there is some sort of an “all-in-one” search engine optimizer plug-in I should add (there are others according to the book, but I guess I need only one.

I also want to enable readers to get notification of my new posts. How is that done? RSS?
