when I try to login on my WP admin page the whole page goes blank and nothing happens. Username and password are correct, there is no error msg just everything goes blank.
I was working all afternoon on my page and everything was fine. Suddenly the page got blank and now I can not enter my backend anymore…

When I click underneath the login form on “go back to “my page” – my page opens with all the wordpress headline like dashboard, themes, edit page etc. and on the right upper side it says “Howdy Bodhi” which is my username so obviously i am logged in but when I click on any of them the whole page goes blank as well.

I already restarted my computer but that didn’t help.

    What can I do?

Errors like this are logged. Check the error log on your server. If you can’t find the log, please contact your host.

Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Debugging_in_WordPress

You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins.

    Hello Steve,
thanks so much – was one of the plugins I guess – deactivated all through ftp as described in your answer – now I can get back in ??

    Best regards
    T.

When you find the culprit, be sure to post something in its support area so the devs know about it.
