After moving child theme. Where are my changes?

  • I have been working a long time to update the look of an old WP-webpage by creating a development site where I was able to test without disturbing my visitors on the original webpage.

    I have adapted a theme by adding the changes in a child theme but, I was also forced to do changes via Dashboard/Appearance/Menu and Dashboard/Appearance/Widgets.

    It is a mess! because when I move my new theme, menu and widgets changes do not follow.

    1) where are menu and widgets changes stored?
    2) How do I move these changes?
