    Hi,

I use AIOSEO in my WordPress sites. A lot of the articles ranked quite good in Google before.
Last weeks I used AIOSEO and optimized my articles to get to 100% SEO-proof as much as possible according to AIOSEO.
After re indexing by Google, my rankings got worse… very much worse..
The articles are still indexed, but are so far down the rankings that no one will find them anymore

    How can that be possible?
    Basic optimization – good ranking
Optimize according to AIOSEO plugin… no where to be found.

    Anu one?
    Thanks

    Change plugin?
    Why exactly?
    Change into what?

All in one seo has caused major damage to my website seo since I updated plugin.

Read negative reviews on this seo main page.

Most the positive views are fake

    change to another seo plugin.

The support didnt help me at all.

Try yoast or seo rank math or seo press

    Ok. THanks

I tried Yoast, but it is a lot more difficult than all in one… But I can invest in learning ??

I have some articles ranking #1 in Google, and I do not want to loose that ranking for those articles..
I am a litte afraid that this will change with installing Yoast or seo press

    Difficult discision ??

try another plugin. Or trust these lot who dont really offer support on sites that have lost rank since plugin update. They just say. Check google console coverage . Taking zero responsibility despite many complaints of same issue.

Seo press is simple and light weight. Practice using it on a domain you dont use much . Then when your confident to add to your main site you can adjust easier.

I installed Yoast on one of my sites.

What immediately strikes me is that Yoast assesses the texts that I previously optimized with AIOSEO very differently. My keywords and use of texts, links etc. were too much used in my articles according to Yoast.
I’ve edited a few articles and see what happens in Google. Hopefully those articles will go back to the old ranking, but time will tell.
Yoast has a completely different approach to SEO
If it turns out that this works, my main site will also switch to Yoast. For now I am not going to use AIOSEO there anymore.

    Thanks for the info!
