After payment test (sandbox) the redirect does not work

    Dear developer,
    we are making payment test with sandbox.
    Once the payment is made on the paypal page, the redirect is not activated.
    We have set the return url in the appropriate paypal section, but it does not work.
    In the administration –> woocommerce –> order, the order is assigned to a “pending payment” status. Does it depend on the sandbox?

    Hi, with the “paypal checkout” option the redirect works and the order status is correct. How can we get it even with Paypal option?

    I had already configured the options for the return, but unfortunately it does’t work.
    I’ll do other tests, contact as soon as I’m done. Thanks a lot.

    Hi,
    it still doesn’t redirect to –> https://www.website.com/checkout/
    but it remains on the order summary page of PayPal.
    Do you have any suggestions?
    I also contacted Paypal support.

    Have you heard back from PayPal support yet? If it’s remaining on PayPal’s order summary page, that would seem to be an issue with the setup in your PayPal account (since PayPal isn’t sending you back), and PayPal will need to take a look at that.

    When testing with the sandbox, it is necessary to insert the automatic return on the site in the sandbox account, while we did it only in the live account.
